By accessing or using HealthClino, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. About HealthClino
HealthClino is a digital healthcare and telemedicine platform that facilitates access to licensed healthcare professionals for online medical consultations.
HealthClino may facilitate consultations by video, telephone or other approved digital communication methods depending on the service and availability.
The healthcare professional responsible for your consultation remains responsible for the clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendations and any clinical documentation or prescription issued following the consultation.
Legal entity/operator: Healthclino Limited.
Operating location: Madrid, Spain.
Email: info@healthclino.com.
Website: https://www.healthclino.eu.
2. Nature of the Service
HealthClino provides access to online healthcare services for conditions that are clinically suitable for remote assessment.
Services may include: general medical consultations; online GP consultations; follow-up consultations; dermatology consultations; women's and men's health services; paediatric consultations where available; mental-health consultations where available; travel-health consultations; second medical opinions; chronic-condition follow-up; medical certificates; sick certificates or medical documentation where clinically appropriate; and prescription assessment or medication renewal where legally permitted.
The availability of any particular service may vary by country, clinician, medical condition and applicable law.
3. No Guarantee of Prescription or Medical Certificate
Booking or paying for a consultation does not guarantee that a prescription, medication, medical certificate, sick note, referral or any other medical document will be issued.
The decision to issue any prescription or document is solely a clinical decision made by the responsible healthcare professional following assessment.
A clinician may refuse to prescribe a medication or issue a document where: it is not clinically appropriate; further examination is required; the information provided is insufficient; the medication is restricted or controlled; local law does not permit remote prescribing; the clinician considers an in-person assessment necessary; or any other clinical or legal reason applies.
Patients must never pressure a clinician to issue a prescription or medical document.
4. Prescriptions and Medicines
Where legally permitted and clinically appropriate, a healthcare professional may issue an electronic or other legally valid prescription.
HealthClino does not guarantee that a particular medicine will be prescribed; that a particular quantity will be prescribed; that a pharmacy will dispense a medicine; that a prescription will be accepted in every jurisdiction; or that a medication will be available at a particular pharmacy.
The patient is responsible for following the instructions of the prescribing clinician and pharmacist.
Prescriptions are intended only for the patient for whom they were issued and must not be transferred, sold or misused.
5. Medical Emergencies
HealthClino is not an emergency medical service.
If you experience a medical emergency or potentially life-threatening symptoms, do not use HealthClino as a substitute for emergency care.
In Spain and the EU, call 112 where appropriate, or use your local emergency number.
Examples of emergency symptoms may include severe difficulty breathing, chest pain, signs of stroke, severe allergic reaction, major trauma, loss of consciousness or other potentially life-threatening conditions.
6. Patient Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information during booking and consultation.
This includes, where relevant: your correct identity; date of birth; contact information; current medications; allergies; relevant medical history; symptoms; duration of symptoms; and any other information reasonably requested by the clinician.
You must not provide false information or intentionally conceal relevant medical information.
Failure to provide accurate information may affect the clinical assessment and may result in the clinician being unable to provide the requested service.
7. Patient Identity Verification
For certain consultations, prescriptions, medical certificates or other services, HealthClino or the responsible healthcare professional may request identity verification.
Acceptable identification documents may depend on the applicable country and service.
HealthClino may refuse or postpone a service if identity cannot be reasonably verified where verification is required.
8. Appointments
Patients are responsible for attending their appointment at the scheduled time.
Appointment times are displayed according to the relevant local time zone.
Patients should ensure that they have: a suitable internet connection; a functioning device; a working microphone and camera where video is required; and a private environment suitable for a medical consultation.
If technical problems prevent the consultation from taking place, the patient should contact HealthClino support as soon as possible.
9. Missed Appointments and Late Arrival
If a patient does not attend a scheduled consultation, the appointment may be treated as a missed appointment.
If a patient arrives significantly late, the clinician may be unable to complete the consultation within the allocated appointment period.
Any refund, rescheduling or credit will depend on the applicable booking and refund policy and applicable consumer law.
10. Fees and Payment
Prices are displayed on the website before the patient confirms a booking.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
HealthClino does not store complete payment-card details on its own servers.
By completing a booking, you authorise the applicable payment provider to process the payment for the selected service.
11. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on: the service purchased; whether the consultation has already taken place; the cancellation timing; whether the clinician has already commenced clinical assessment; any applicable consumer rights; and any specific cancellation terms displayed during booking.
Where a healthcare consultation has already been performed, a refund will not automatically be available simply because the patient did not receive the medical outcome they expected.
No refund is guaranteed for a consultation where a clinician, acting professionally and lawfully, decides that a requested prescription or medical document is not clinically appropriate.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Clinical Independence
Healthcare professionals using the HealthClino platform exercise independent clinical judgment.
HealthClino does not instruct clinicians to prescribe particular medications or provide particular diagnoses.
The clinician determines whether online care is appropriate and what treatment, if any, should be recommended.
13. Limitations of Telemedicine
Online healthcare has inherent limitations.
A remote consultation may not permit: physical examination; immediate diagnostic testing; vital-sign measurements; imaging; laboratory testing; or other assessments that may be required for diagnosis.
The clinician may therefore recommend an in-person consultation, testing, emergency care or specialist assessment.
14. Privacy and Medical Confidentiality
HealthClino processes personal and health information in accordance with applicable data-protection and healthcare confidentiality laws.
Please read our Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding personal data, health data, legal bases for processing, data sharing, data retention, international transfers, and your data-protection rights.
15. Cookies
HealthClino uses cookies and similar technologies.

16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the HealthClino website, branding, logos, text, graphics, software, design and other materials are owned by or licensed to HealthClino.

17. Prohibited Use
You must not: use the Service for unlawful purposes; provide false identity information; impersonate another person; attempt to obtain medication fraudulently; provide false symptoms or medical information; share another person's account; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with the platform; introduce malicious software; harass clinicians or staff; record consultations without appropriate permission or legal basis; or use prescriptions or medical documents belonging to another person.
HealthClino may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect patients, clinicians, staff, the platform or comply with law.
18. Third-Party Services
HealthClino may use third-party providers for services such as: payment processing; hosting; authentication; communications; video consultations; analytics; security; email delivery; and technical infrastructure.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
19. Availability
We aim to keep HealthClino available and operational, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to: maintenance; technical problems; internet failures; third-party outages; security incidents; force majeure; or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
20. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud where applicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HealthClino is not responsible for indirect losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms removes the professional obligations or clinical responsibilities of healthcare professionals.
21. Changes to These Terms
HealthClino may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be published on this page with the relevant update date.
Where legally required, material changes may be communicated to affected users.
22. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable Spanish and European Union law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable to you in your country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
23. Contact
